Personality: Kit could easily be described as a troublemaker at best. She loves messing with people to get a reaction and she's particularly blunt in her manner of speaking and it tends to cause issues. She's also well aware of what she's good at and will absolutely play those things up to hear praise about it. The pup's competitive to a fault as well, she thinks she has to be the absolute best at something at least for a little bit to think it's worth doing. She's snarky and rude and hot headed and overall just doesn't seem very nice. She can't be regarded as a good kid upon first impressions or even really at barely decent one.

However, not everything about this kid is a terribly mean thing. Like how when she genuinely likes someone she'll stick by them. Or how she absolutely hates seeing people sad and will try her best to cheer them up. Especially if she was the cause she'll sincerely apologize if she had no intention of doing so (which is most of the time). She never has bad intentions to go with her bad behavior, she's just overtly attention seeking, which is still an issue on its own but it's nice to know she's for the most part harmless. 

History: Alexis and Constantine Rotterdam were a couple that loved each other very much. So much in fact, that they had 9 children. Not that they meant to have that many of course. Nonetheless they did and the youngest ones they had were triplets: 2 identical and 1 fraternal. Verona, Corona and Kitale were all energetic from the start and though close they were more often than not seen separate from each other. Difference of interest, they said, and it wasn't wrong. Verona was most interested in medical things, Corona had programming and the like and Kit had cooking. However, if there was one thing they all liked, it was competition.

    Often the triplets would enter academic competitions together and often they'd always be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Which is something to be proud of right? However Kit was never happy with this because she was always the 3rd out of them. Sure it was 3rd out of lots of kids but she was really only concerned about the competition the three of them had with each other. But it was a little disheartening to always be 3rd out of 3 when the other two were really the only ones equally matched.

    She never admitted this out loud, though she did start to opt out of going to those competitions to have more time to practice cooking and the like. And with the extra time she had that used to be for studying and competing Kit had improved exponentially. But even though the pup was proud of herself something felt a little bit empty about it. But what was missing? Well, the thrill of a contest of course. And conveniently for her, a cooking show for kids (much like Masterchef Junior) was looking for contestants and Kit was ready and willing and capable enough to make it onto the show. However, she may have underestimated everyone else, or overestimated herself, as she couldn't keep up and didn't get very far at all. Instead of being 3rd place, she was the 3rd kid booted off and in all honestly, her ego was pretty fractured after.

    It probably shouldn't have been too big of a problem, but Kit saw that as the thing she was best at. And what can you do if you aren't even good and the thing you thought you were great at? On one hand she wanted to take a 'to hell with it' approach but it was obvious as much as she didn't want to care, she cared too much. And it frustrated her to no end. The Rotterdam parents noticed this and it was concerning to them, but they weren't quite sure what they could do to help Kit out. But once their other daughter, Lin had mentioned she was going to enroll in a college on a distant island and briefly mentioned their was a lower level school there as well in the conversation, the couple started to think and decided maybe a change of scenery would be good for Kit. And so not very long after, another Rotterdam was signing up for the school.
