PDWMA App Vega

     Vega is a rather enigmatic teen at first glance. She speaks in a rather mild-mannered tone most times, and she almost never seems to give into any level of anger above irritation. However, she never really seems to get excited or happy about many things, making her a little bit hard to read. She's generally agreeable in how she talks to others, though she has an issue with being a bit too blunt with her words and offending others, whether she meant to or not. Another downside to Vega is that she's pretty distrusting of others at first, even if they haven't given her a reason to. She's always taken this approach to strangers even as a child, so it most likely won't change anytime soon.                    

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Welcome to the most celestial circus you'll ever see, the Cirque du Ciel!"

    The Cirque du Ciel started from a small ensemble of performers from the Khorram household in the 1970's. Slowly but surely though, more and more members were added on to the cast and the ensemble had evolved into a full scale contemporary circus. The company prospered for a good while until it begun to fall on hard times. They had failed to be granted any relief funds, so in a desperate effort to keep themselves going, the founders decided to use more... unethical ways to gain money. The Cirque had developed a night life of fraud, laundering, and sometimes more violent things if the need be. Even after they had escaped their financial low and the reigns had been handed down to the children of the original founders, they continued these practices on an even lower profile to make sure they stayed above water. And so the Cirque ran a night life of a crime syndicate ever since....

    The founder's son, Regulus and his wife grew into a small family on the road consisting of their three children, the youngest being a shiny absol named after one of the brightest stars in the sky, Vega. As soon as the kids could walk, they were put to practice so to be professionals by their teen years. The practice was intensive and hard, but the Khorram children were allowed plenty of time to play with the other circus children and relax. However, they had a few rules to follow with no room to negotiate. One of which was to never trust people that were not affiliated with the Cirque, another being a strict curfew. Of course they obeyed though, they had no reason to do otherwise. And this how it went up until they were all into their teenage years.

    Eventually though, Vega had found her own reasons to question. She had grown curious as to what happens after curfew especially. So one night, the absol snuck out and explored the circus after hours... and found something she never thought she would. Far, but not too far away from the actual big top, she spotted a few of the performers standing over someone else. Almost out of instinct, Vega ran to go find her dad to go tell him what was happening. His distress was more over that she was up however, which both confused and angered her. After a good while of back and forth, Regulus finally gave in and ordered for a family meeting for the morning to explain the second business the cirque was in. 

    Vega for one, well. Wasn't too pleased with this news in the slightest. Learning after 13 years you're been a crime boss's kid well, it'd be a weird pill to swallow. All she knew was that she didn't want a part of it. Of course she really didn't have somewhere else to go, which definitely proved to be an issue. That is, until one of her uncles approached not too long after the family meeting. He had a curious ability to change into a sword which he explained had led him to meet a stranger after one trip a while back. He was invited to join a place called the DWMA to train and destroy evil creatures, but he opted out, however he thought it would be worth mentioning to Vega in case that would be something she'd be interested in making a living out of instead. And indeed the teen's interest was thoroughly piqued, but she mulled over the thought some time before deciding it'd be what seems best. Maybe in a way, joining this place could be a way to make up for the rest of her family...
